BLAST (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool) is a collection of searching programs to compare protein or DNA sequence queries to protein or DNA sequence databases. The Delta HPC implementation of BLAST is coupled with the SGI HTC Environment for Bioinformatics for maximum efficiency on SGI hardware.
